Being an agreeable guy is a turn-off to women?

A woman on YouTube claims that being a nice, agreeable guy is unappealing and women like a guy who is unwavering in his opinions, yet in my experience, when I POLITELY expressed an opinion any of my girlfriends disagreed with, they became angry or would burst into tears. I don't see how I would have gotten a better reaction from them if I would have (as she suggested) told them "this is how it's going to be."
