My parents fought but I felt peace in my heart?

My parents were fighting really badly, mom was crying and my step dad was angry, but I wasn't angry or sad, its like my heart was at peace. And my step dad tried to kick us out and not let us get our stuff, I took my cat with me. But I STILL didn't feel the urge to say anything back, its like I wasn't angry,sad, mad, worried, or anything. I felt like God was with me, maybe, do you of any scriptures that might have anything to do with tranquility in your heart in the midst of chaos?
